2011

18th-25th June 2011
The Whittingtons, Sneaths & Stradlings plus the children had a wonderful time at Les Places. What a beautiful house-such character & so well equipped-it had everything we needed. The pool was enjoyed by all & that view-wow !! We would love to come back one day-Thank you.
2nd-9th July
The Gordons from Edinburgh & the McVivens from deepest, frozen Argyllshire, Scotland. We have had a great week, defrosting & enjoying the lavender, the pool, the boules & the kitchen. Maggie.
The McViven clan from deepest, darkest Argyll have once again returned to their ancestral & spiritual home-land, the Lot, & it is clear why our forefathers of the auld alliana enjoyed such climate, cuisine & drink, Cend lulle faid....
It was great though I look like a lobster-young master Gordon.
Auberge du Porche in Serignac is very good-good value-worth a visit. Merci ! for a wonderful holiday !!
9th-16th July
The croquet lawn needs levelling & cutting ! Everything else excellant, thank you. Martin Ribathon.
The croquet lawn was perfect, Martin just needs to learn how to play. A wonderful place, we had such an amazing time. The Passion Rouge (restaurant-Mauroux) was excellent. Clare & Reys
Loved all the nooks & crannies throughout the house & all the wooden sculptures. The week has been lovely despite a couple of dodgy days ! Lovely visit to Chateau Bonaguil & Chateau Cayrou where we learnt much about 'growing wine'. Linda & Giles Rigler.
There has been many fantastic days & nights spent here at Les Places. As you can tell from the earlier comments ! But my personal favourite aspect has been the PICON BIERRE !I have left some for you ! Enjoy Rhys the Welshman. ps Sorry I drank all of the Picon......
Loved the house-especially the sculptures & art-as well as the atmospheric barn, pyramid & the glorious garden & natural meadows. A week of bliss-thank you ! Wonderful walks & canoeing on the Lot too. Have to come back.....
The Sacks Clan 05/08/2011  ps The observatory is a must !
23rd July-13th August
Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. We-& many of our friend-have had a wonderful time here. We have left some food in the fridge & cupboards in the hope that it will be of some use to you or the next tenants, rather than throwing it away. I hope it isn't an inconvenience. We had a couple of breakages-2 wine glasses & a glass bedside lamp from the bedroom above the kitchen-sorry !
Many thanks & best wishes, Anne & Nigel.
13-20/08/11
A wonderful QUIET location & room enough to escape the teenagers ! Enjoyed the pool & the table-tennis. Thankful for all the fans as the temperature was above 35 degrees outside ! Didn't venture out much, Puy L'Eveque v.quiet, big Leclerc at Montayral easy to find on road to Fumel. Delicious meal at 'Le Vert' at Mauroux. Wonderful for bird-spotting in the evening by the pool. Thank you for taking us at such short notice & making our stay so relaxing & enjoyable. Peter, Susan, Rebecca & Amy Vicary-Smith
